Dialink, a premier provider of VoIP network services to small and medium-sized businesses in Northern California has selected XO Communications (News – Alert) to provide Ethernet, DIA and VoIP services.
With XO, the company is expanding its voice and IP services in order to offer its customers with more scalable, cost-effective services and also to grow its network footprint into the Southern California market. At a time when Dialink’s traditional T1 customers were searching for a more economical IP service that could easily expand as their business needs grew, Dialink approached XO. The bandwidth flexibility and network reach that Dialink requires is offered by XO’s Ethernet over copper and Ethernet over DS1 services, with bandwidth options ranging from 3 Mbps up to 10 Gbps. The company will be able to offer end-to-end data and voice services, with XO’s VoIP origination and termination services added to the mix. “Working with XO, Dialink has a competitive advantage, as we can now offer new and existing customers the comprehensive and cost-effective service solutions their evolving businesses require,” Jeff Klapper, president of Dialink, said. “We look forward to growing our business with a company who shares our goal to provide the highest-level customer support and superior network services.” Dialink is provided with an opportunity to move forward with plans to expand its network into Southern California with the help of XO’s extensive Ethernet infrastructure — which reaches nearly four million buildings nationwide. “Our IP and Ethernet infrastructures allow us to quickly and effectively provide carriers of all sizes and their customers with customized Ethernet solutions that best meet their needs — whether it’s new customer demands or business expansion plans,” Ernie Ortega, president of XO Carrier Services, said. “The solution we designed for Dialink brought significant value to their business by concurrently improving their service offerings and achieving significant cost savings.” In related news, XO Communications has expanded its carrier-grade broadband wireless coverage in Northern Virginia by deploying a new wireless hub in the Tyson’s Corner area of Northern Virginia.
