Vlingo for Android Now Available on Android Market

Erin Keleher, Senior Marketing Communications Manager, Vlingo (News – Alert) has just announced in the company’s blog that Vlingo for AndroidTM is now available on Android Market.

Vlingo allows you to speak to your device to do almost anything including sending text and email, searching the web or Google (News – Alert) maps, updating Twitter and more! Vlingo for AndroidTM also comes equipped with SafeReader, a “hands-free” feature that provides drivers with a safer, easier way to hear incoming text and email messages while on the go.

Vlingo is available for Android 2.x and above. North American users can download Vlingo on device from the Android Market or go to Vlingo.com from your Android device.

For a limited time only, Vlingo for AndroidTM is available for a one-time fee of $9.99.

Vlingo unlocks access to wireless data services. It is the inventor of the mobile phone “voice user interface,” Vlingo delivers a voice interface and technology that allows users to instantly access services and content on their device. These services include the ability send text and email messages, call contacts, search the Web, update your Facebook or Twitter status and much more by just speaking into their phone.

Vlingo is also available for most current BlackBerry (News – Alert) smartphones, Apple’s iPhone (3G, 3GS, iPod Touch – 2nd Gen), Nokia phones and select Windows Mobile phones
