National Semiconductor has created a chipset, branded under SolarMagic, focused on integrating intelligence into solar panel systems to drive higher energy output. The SolarMagic power optimizer is embedded directly into solar panel junction boxes. It will ship to customers already integrated on a board or as a standalone chipset.
