Appia Communications has been recognized as one of America’s fastest-growing private companies and one of the fastest-growing solution providers in the technology industry. In order to give its customers more options and its resellers partners more flexibility, Appia Communications has announced the addition of Internet phone lines, also known as SIP trunks, to its existing portfolio. These Internet phone lines are expected to replace the traditional phone lines including PBXs or IP-PBXs. The new SIP trunk offering is expected to provide fully managed network connectivity or use the existing high-speed Internet connection, complementing Appia’s other services.
Appia president Victor von Schlegell considered SIP trunking another option for the customer and also for its partners. Now there would be more than one way of constructing business-class VoiP solutions. Customers have the option of either using the hosted service or having the phone system on their premises. Schlegell added that flexibility was central to Appia’s service model and personalized solutions were the norm. The options that SIP trunks offered, were unmatched by traditional phone systems, and more importantly, customers could enjoy the benefits of a business VoiP service without having to abandon existing investments.
Headquartered in Traverse City, Michigan, Appia Communications is a leading provider of communication and network services for businesses and organizations. Appia’s solutions help customers minimize capital investments, reduce costs, enhance employee productivity, improve customer care and compete more effectively against much larger enterprises. In a related news release, Appia Communications and Terrapin (News – Alert) Solutions officially announced that Terrapin will provide Appia’s cloud-based communication and networking services through Terrapin’s agent network.
