May 24 – Highland, NYPrism Solar Technologies, Inc., a manufacturer of a unique holographic solar technology for solar-electric modules, today announced that Stephen Filler, Director of Corporate Development, will speak at the 2010 Clean Technology Conference and Expo at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA on Thursday, June 24 at 4:20pm in the CleanTechnology Venture Forum. “We are excited to showcase the latest developments in Prism’s Holographic Planar Concentrator technology,” says Filler, “and for the possibility of finding the right partnerships as we begin manufacturing holographic solar modules and film technology.”
The 2010 Clean Technology Conference and Expo is a multi-disciplinary and multi-sector conference addressing advancements in traditional technologies, emerging technologies and clean business practices applied towards a more sustainable future.
Prism Solar was also selected to present at two other competitions taking place at
the Clean Technology Conference and Expo. The CTSI Utility Challenge, where
Prism Solar was chosen out of over 150 entrants, will give visibility to promising
utility-scale clean technologies and connect companies to partnerships and testing
opportunities. The AC-NET Business Plan Competition, where Prism Solar is a top
ten semi-finalist selected from a highly competitive field of almost 60 entries,
provides a forum where companies will compete for $40,000 in prize money and
ultimately test technologies in southern California.
