The Real Paygo plan, an a la carte prepaid wireless plan has been introduced by PlatinumTel Wireless (News – Alert), a nationwide prepaid wireless provider that operates on a 3G Network that reaches 280 million people. Company officials said the plan provides the most competitive rates in prepaid cell phone service and also offers 100 percent control of services used, to the consumers.

“Real Paygo offers wireless users the best value and flexibility and doesn’t force them into a commitment or services that they don’t need or use, as many unlimited plans on the market do,” CEO of PlatinumTel, Omar Ahmad, says. “Additionally, the plan offers the most competitive pay-as-you-go rates in the industry. Currently, Real Paygo prices come in at less than half that of competitors’ prepaid programs, continuing PlatinumTel’s goal of offering affordable wireless plans for everyone’s needs.”

The features of Real Paygo are as follows:

5¢ a minute for talk

2¢ per text message

10¢ per megabyte for mobile web

10¢ per picture message

Plans are available in $10, $20, $30, $50 and $100 increments. The $10 plan provides 90 days of service and the $100 plan is good for 365 days

Free long distance

Free on-network nationwide roaming

Free voicemail, caller ID, call waiting, 3-way calling

“This revolutionary plan provides consumers an offering that has been missing in wireless, as it complements the ‘all you can eat’ plans that don’t meet the needs of a large segment of the population,” Ahmad, says.

On May 24, the Real Paygo will be made available. The new plan will be reflected on the PlatinumTel website. In related news, PlatinumTel has entered into a partnership relation with Embee Mobile to launch a PlatinumTel Mobile Wallet Facebook (News – Alert) application.
