New Data Center Facility Unveiled In Downtown Chicago by Onshore Networks

onShore Networks, completeIT services, completed the construction of its new Data Center facility in downtown Chicago. With this centrally located data center onShore Networks expect to expand its footprint for colocation space.

 The facility measures 3,000 square feet and was built with wide range of amenities to meet with the requirements of onShore Networks’ colocation customers.  The amenities of the data center include raised flooring among others. This is designed to provide 24×7 climate control through data center grade air handling units.  The data center also comes with the promise of electrical power redundancy through a combination of Uninterruptible Power Supplies and diesel back up power generator. onShore Networks will offer customers a variety of colocation space options including 1-4 rack units, 1/3 rack, 1/2 rack, full rack or multiple racks.  The onshore officials have informed that customers can choose from multiple options for electrical power and bandwidth within each rack.  Interesting to note that onShore‘s data center coincides with another data center inauguration. Chicago based Steadfast Networks has also just announced that it was opening a new data center on Chicago’s Wells Street. Since 1991, onShore Networks has been serving Chicagoland area with its network integration services. The company takes pride on its competence with all facets of technology for business. 
Its expertise includes designing and implementing local-area and wide-area networks (LANs/WANs), delivering and managing systems running Microsoft Windows, Apple (News – Alert) Mac OS X, or Linux Operating Systems, network security monitoring and management including Managed Security Services, onSite technical support and Internet connectivity (ISP) services. The company says that its Network Integration (NI) services team is fully versed with Microsoft (News – Alert) products. In addition, onShore Networks is a full-service Internet Service Provider (ISP). They provide connectivity via T1s, T3s, OC3s, OC12s, Ethernet, and Wireless, which they manage and monitor 24x7x365, to their customers.  onShore Networks has recently undergone an upgradation process for integrating load balancing services to its core network. This, the company said, wouldl allow them to improve the quality of services. 
onShore Networks also boasts of a full-service onGuard Managed Security Services team, which allows them to provide a high level of security expertise to properly manage potential security threats to their customers’ networks.
