Intelligent Decisions has announced that it has successfully completed an end-to-end data center relocation project for the Patient Advocate Foundation.

The Patient Advocate Foundation’s mission is to provide effective mediation and arbitration services to patients to remove obstacles to healthcare including medical debt crisis, insurance access issues and employment issues for patients with chronic, debilitating and life-threatening illnesses.

Company officials said that this relocation effort included the complete de-installation and re-installation of all IT infrastructure components from the Newport News, VA data center to the new Hampton, VA headquarters location. The data center relocation experience that ID has with large federal organizations helped to secure this award.

A team comprising of various prominent organizations was assembled by the company to offer a custom designed data center relocation to meet all of the customer’s time, performance and security requirements, said company officials.

The ID team provided on-site project management, de-installations of servers, routers, rails, electrical and fiber connections, management of the transportation company. Later at the new site, the team performed a full installation of all data center components and provided OEM vendor management to address technical issues that arose.

Company officials said that the actual data center relocation of the Patient Advocate Foundation was completed in the business days. Previously, the company had conducted extensive site surveys and pre-planning activities, ensuring the move was secure and efficient as possible.
