Dimmers are resisters and all you do is take the same load and apply it to resistor.
Mr Suzuki is wrong in trying to have Germany as a model for us to follow in regards to electric generation . Fact is Germany has 65 percent of electric power generated by Coal, Oil and Natural Gas.
