First Choice Power has said that it’s awarding 26 Texas based non-profit organizations “Reduce Your Use Grants” to increase energy efficiency.

Valued as much as $2,000 each, the grants are awarded to local organizations that display a need and desire to save money on their electricity bill by using eco-friendly and energy-efficient products, said company officials.

Using the grants, these 26 organizations can fund their purchasing of products ranging from light bulbs to appliances and windows, said company officials.

“These grants enable nonprofits around Texas to decrease their energy use, allowing them to dedicate their time and resources toward the long-term vision of achieving their missions,” said Brian Hayduk, president at First Choice Power.
