The absolute best Internet on a 100 per cent fibre-optic network that connects directly to businesses is provided by the service.
The key benefits of this innovative new service are: Fast Internet speeds, improved productivity and the ability to compete in the future with leading edge technology.
“We’re pleased to be able to help businesses improve their productivity,” Kelly Duplisea, VP, Customer Solutions, Bell Aliant, says. “Offering new services like FibreOP for Business provide the foundation for business growth and also help attract and retain new and existing talent in the future – a key ingredient for business success.”
“As a government, we were pleased to help kick-start the FibreOP project in Fredericton and Saint John last year, and we are very proud that the Bell Aliant team shares our vision of making New Brunswick Canada’s smart province,” the Hon. Shawn Graham, Premier of New Brunswick, says. “Expanding this service to include business will give companies in all sectors another reason to locate in New Brunswick, and help existing companies work more productively, attracting new skilled workers and give our kids a reason to stay home. We are pleased that Bell Aliant is adding significantly to our value proposition as one of the best places in Canada to be for business.”
Fast Internet speed is offered by FibreOP for Business that allows businesses to download or upload information more efficiently. Internet service is available at speeds of 20 Mbps download with 5 Mbps upload.
To ensuring a fast overall Internet experience, increasing the capacity of upload speeds in addition to download speeds is important.
“Bell Aliant’s new service is a refreshing new approach to service for business. Our company has benefited significantly through participation in this new program by reducing operational costs, increasing effectiveness and having access to even more services,” Shaune Walsh-Daigle, President, Decorator’s Mill, says.
In related news, Bell Aliant has announced to increase the number of TV subscribers and its revenues with a $350-million expansion to the Atlantic phone company’s advanced broadband network in 2011 and 2012.
